Review:
We picked this restaurant after reading a great review from Elain, a friend of CFO's. It's been a few months since we last visited this restaurant, so our review will mostly consist of pictures.

As recommended by Elain, we ordered the Joon Special - Dak Gal Bee. We were tempted to order additional dishes but our waitress insists the Joon Special is more than enough. Not ones to argue, we stick with Dak Gal Bee. Complimentary side dishes (changes daily and always refillable) are a Korean staple, that night we are offered sugar mashed potatoes, kimichi, pickled radish and a couple of others.
The basic Joon Special comes with only spicy chicken and veggies. Extra add-ons include rice cakes, sweet potato, and mozzarella cheese (Apparently Korean's are big cheese eaters). We got all the add-ons except for the noodles.

All the raw ingredients were cooked in a big pot on a gas stove infront of us. Home cooking at it's finest, but without all the prep time and clean up. CFO can't help but get her hands dirty, so she takes over the cooking duties from our waitress. The hands on experience was quite fun! Once all the ingredient were cooked (approximately 15 mins), the cheese was added which created a unique but delicious taste. Everything worked really well together!

Being the big eaters that we are, we were quite surprised to see that we still had some leftovers. Not wanting to waste any food, our waitress offered to cook the leftovers with rice ($1/bowl). We happily accept her offer and order 2 bowls of rice.

By the end of the night, we were extremely full. The meal at Joons definitely satisfied both our stomachs and budget.
